GOUVIA
resort - overlooking spectacular Kommeno Bay- is the site of Corfu's
largest yachting marina and the launching point of most of the
island's flotilla and bareboat holidays, although the mainly Scandinavian
German and British holidaymakers far outnumber boaters.
Gouvia enjoys a rural location, set, as it is among olive groves
and cypress trees, but don't be fooled into thinking it's a quiet
